About Me
The paintings you see on this website are colored by a thousand trips to places I have either lived or visited. Mine is a traveling show. New geography is the engine of my imagination. Using the analogy of a shark that has to keep moving to survive does not make me comfortable. But movement has been a constant to this artist gypsy. Since my life and travels have taken me all over my paintings have a world of influences. It’s hard to define my style. Impressionism and expressionism may be the labels that fit the best. But I love to elude pat categories. I like shocking the senses with unusual combinations of color and composition. My background comprises a love of the arts and the environment. Highlights of my exhibiting career include the New Orleans Museum of Art, San Francisco Museum of Art rental Gallery, San Diego Art Institute-Museum of the Living Artist, House of Blues New Orleans, Russell Rotunda US Capitol Washington DC, Gallerie Gris-Gris Utrecht Holland.
